Paying by credit card
The Peritheia website is a secure website. You can check this by clicking on the VeriSign symbol on the secure payment page. We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express. You can also pay using PayPal.
For the MYSELF Adoption and GIFT SUBSCRIPTION Adoption the initial payment covers the first delivery of olive oil or tea. The first delivery will be the following season from the registration of the adoptiondate of the purchase. This payment is immediate.
Subsequent payments will be debited against your initial payment method every quarter (March, June, Sept, Dec).
If you wish to cancel your subscription you can do so by emailing us. We prepare each delivery about 1 month in advance, so to cancel before the Spring shipment you must inform us by March 1st, for the Summer delivery by 1st June, for the Fall delivery by 1st Sept and for the Winter delivery by 1st Dec. If you do not let us know before these dates than we may not be able to cancel the delivery and you will be charged.
Peritheia Delivery Charges for Products
Delivery charges are 6€ Worldwide.
Import and Sales Tax
We are unable to estimate the taxes, duties, or customs fees that may be particular to the international destinations to which we are able to ship. Because of this, Peritheia does not include these charges in our shipping costs, and customers may receive subsequent invoices from Federal Express, UPS or your countries customs. Please note that we are not responsible for any additional taxes, duties, or other customs fees, which may apply.
USA Delivery: Please note that certain products will not be dispatched until Friday 7th October, this is highlighted on the product page for products this applies to. Sorry, we are moving warehouse.
For olive tree amd tea adoptions, we aim to send the Adoption Registration Booklets out within 2 working days of receiving all the adoption information. If there is a problem with any of the information you have provided we will contact you by e-mail. All certificates are sent from the UK.
For shop orders, we aim to send out packages the following working day. All orders in the US are sent from our New York warehouse, and all other orders are sent from the UK. Please let us know if you have any special requirements for the timing of your delivery.
We don’t make deliveries over the weekend and a signature may be needed for parcels, so please ensure someone will be available to receive the order. If the recipient isn’t at home in the day we’d recommend using a work address.
We insure the goods until delivery, but can’t be held responsible for failed delivery due to factors beyond our control, such as mistakes with addresses.
If a package has never been received we must be notified within three months of the oil/ tea being sent out in order for your order to be refunded or a replacement package sent. We are not longer able to track the package after this time and therefore cannot confirm that the package is missing.
Our Returns Policy
If you are unhappy with your purchase, you may return it, in the same state in which you received it, for a refund or replacement within 10 days of the delivery date. Delivery and handling charges are non-refundable. We’ll refund the cost of the item within 30 days of receiving the returned, undamaged goods.
You can cancel your order at any time before delivery by emailing or calling us within the despatch times stated above.
